Welcome to Uncle Ong Food Centre Two, a vibrant cafe nestled in the heart of Kuching, Sarawak. This local gem on Jln Sungai Moyan invites food lovers to experience a delightful array of Malaysian culinary offerings in a laid-back setting.

The cafe proudly serves a variety of beloved dishes that showcase the rich flavors of Malaysian cuisine. Indulge in the aromatic laksa, a spicy noodle soup that bursts with fragrant herbs and spices. If you're in the mood for something heartier, don't miss the roti canai, crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, perfect for dipping in savory curry. For a quick yet satisfying option, try the kolok mee with pork balls, a local specialty that’s both affordable and generous in portion size, as noted by regulars who keep coming back for more. And for salad lovers, the salad chicken rice comes highly recommended for its delectable flavor and quality.

However, while the food excels, the dining atmosphere has received mixed reviews. Some patrons, like Lance Lai, appreciate the delicious offerings but find the ambiance reminiscent of a basic kopitiam, saying it feels a bit “dirty.” It's important to come here with a casual mindset, as its charm lies more in the food than the decor.

Customer feedback can be a mixed bag, as Diana Tan pointed out her encounter with a less-than-pleasant staff member who seemed to overlook her request amidst serving others. Thankfully, she acknowledged that the owner showed great customer service, reflecting that there's room for improvement in staff training. Meanwhile, Kee Inghung shared the joy of frequently ordering the kolok Mee, highlighting the cafe’s affordability and satisfying portions.

In essence, Uncle Ong Food Centre Two might not offer the polished dining experience you'll find at higher-end venues, but it delivers hearty, authentic Malaysian fare that is sure to please the palate. Whether you're in for a quick snack or a casual meal, it's the perfect place to engage with local flavors and enjoy the hustle and bustle of Kuching life. Don’t forget to grab some takeout to relish at home! Come hungry, and you might just leave with a new favorite dish to crave.

One staff from the fast food stall was either waking up the wrong side of bed or he had attitude problem. I joined the queue & when I requested for plastic bag coz I want to take away, he ignored me completely. He is either deaf or he is rude. He actually have the cheek to serve those behind me in the queue. The boss finally came to serve me & very polite. The staff need to be in the kitchen & not serving people upfront. He picks & choose who he wants to serve & who he does wish to serve & pulling a long face. Shame on you. You know who u are.

First ordered salad chicken rice, really tastes delicious, especially the rice itself. Seeing lots of sumptuous foods to find like roti canai, nasi goreng, laksa, kolo mee and Dayak food. The service is okay. I do enjoy their food here, but the environment is like, you know what it’s more like a dirty kopitiam.

Great cafe to eat but sometimes there's limited options. Sometimes. The atmosphere's okay. Not great, not that bad. 6/10.
